The North Coast

The north coast (norra kust) is a cold place in Sweden populated by pop musicians who after a long winter emerges from their wooden cabins with long thick beards and masterpiece albums under their arm.
The name Norra Kust should be familiar to experts of Malmö-related pop, when they under the guidance of Adrian Recordings in 2010 took on the dark neo-wave of MF/MB/ in a remix of the single The Big Machine that turned it upside down into a lo-fi balearic trip bearing little resemblence to the original.
It has taken some time for the two exiled Luleå-boys to get something on tape, but now it’s here in the shape of the single Valleys. Enjoy.

Sergio Rizzolo is my italian alter-ego when I play records at clubs & bars, or cut and re-edit records and make mixtapes. It’s a DJ-alias that has stuck with me since I was 19, when my biggest heroes were Beppe Loda & Daniele Baldelli.
