Sergio Rizzolo is the alter-ego of a 24-year old discjockey who spent his teens scoping for rare italo singles, watching an unhealthy amount of B-movies by the likes of Castellari & Bava, as well as studying the ancient mixtapes of cosmic heroes Loda & Baldelli.
He now runs the project Disko Akademin (The Disco Academy) since 2009, which is a combination of blogspot and gerilla record shop. The Disco Academy sticker of approval graces the covers of selected second hand vinyl records in stores from Malmö to Umeå, but has its original base at Rundgång Record Store on Kristianstadsgatan 17 in Malmö, also the home of label Psychic Malmö.

He has also gained some attention for his steady output of cheese infused re-edits of a large variety of styles, with a tendency towards heavy orchestrations and analogue equipments.
